Advice From The Planets As A Skeptic
Posted By arafatrust on December 24, 2011
During high school one of my mates was a committed disciple of the power of astrology in deciding personality, relationships and compatibility. That first week of school she spent her time working out which Sagittarius would suit her Virgo character, if that Taurus seemed a trouble maker or if the male Capricorn in the corner could presumably be the love of her life.
While her passion for the stars and far seeing died down soon after realizing that no one shared her eagerness, it did spark an interest inside me in relation to whether there was any basis behind all these wild allegations of celestial inference.
A decade later, when a couple of my friends decided to seek the guidance of a clairvoyant for matters of both heart and career, I thought it might be a great idea to tag along. Whether a psychic reader was going to tell us any enlightening details about our present and future predicaments we silently doubted, but nevertheless we reached into the spiritual side of life and had a tarot card reader reveal our destiny.
With her command we tapped into our body, mind, and spirit to get a clear feeling for our mystic hearing. Unfortunately for me no details were told of my upcoming great fortune or my future partner’s phenomenal talents in the bedroom, but I did appreciate her foresight of my life being a long and content one.
While not a complete skeptic I can not say that I am a actual believer. searching for the information of a mystical medium may reap stronger rewards for those looking for comfort and energy healing except for a group of twenty-something girls looking for direct answers on life and love, our experiences were not precisely as we had imagined it’d be.
After all I still do enjoy checking my daily horoscope on a regular basis.
